A newly married couple is redoing this house, to make it their forever home. The support above the garage had failed, including the porch slab above. This required demolition of the entire porch slab as well as the support above the garage opening. Our guys were able to remove the slab, install steel rods vertically through the cells of the existing block, and reinforce these areas with cement. A new steel beam was installed over the garage opening, and new steel decking to support the new slab. Next, the new cement will be poured, and the new garage door installed. Making this area better than it was when it was new!

The guys are making steady progress on Phase 3 of the exterior waterproofing project at the Monroeville Borough Building. The basement level of the building including the locker room for the police department began to experience water intrusion. The membrane we are applying is permanent and combined with the new drainage system will ensure this problem is solved for good!

Our customer in the Cannonsburg area wanted an entry to the rear yard from the basement level.
We were able to excavate the area, fighting our way through some significant beds of rock, to create enough area for this to happen. Support was established under the existing footer, reinforced walls were built, and new steps were poured. The door was installed, the exposed foundation wall was finished and the new railings were added. The yard has been dressed, and once the grass returns, this entryway will look like it’s always been part of the house. Of course, proper drainage and waterproofing were a priority, and the finished product is exceptional.

Our Gibsonia customer wanted to add back yard access. After some excavation, our crew laid out the location and cut the proper opening. The crew installed a steel lintel, a cement base and framing before installing the door. After insulating, installing exterior trim and sealing, the customer can now enjoy the backyard without using the front door. Another exceptional installation by our experienced crew.

This Mount Lebanon home has raised a family, and is now onto having the grandkids visit quite often. Noticing excessive moisture and significant cracks in the foundation they followed the Mount Lebanon guidelines, and brought in a structural engineer to analyze.
