EZ-Rail Tip ✅

Sometimes the log doesn’t give you a perfect surface to work with. If one of the 3” leveling screws that comes with your EZ-Rails isn’t making contact with the log, use a wedge to help support and level the rail.

Once everything is level, go back and hammer in the dogs one more time to lock in those three points of contact. This helps keep the leveling screws from vibrating out while you’re milling.

A little extra setup goes a long way on that first cut 👌

Celebrating the man who started it all, Elof Granberg 🌲

Elof founded Granberg in 1957, but before Granberg ever existed, he was a WWII veteran, a working logger, an inventor, and someone who simply believed there had to be a better way to get the job done.

That mindset led to the first Granberg tools such as the File-N-Joint and eventually the Alaskan Chainsaw Mill. Nearly 70 years later, we’re still a family business carrying on what he started.

Founder’s Day is our chance to celebrate Elof, his ingenuity, and the legacy he left behind. We’re pretty proud to still have the Granberg name on tools being used by sawyers all over the world today. ❤️
