It is about time I posted pictures of the last job I completed quite a few months ago. I had to go radio silent for a while, luckily, I am slowly ramping up to getting back to my normal and productive self. I am making many changes to my business, among them will be a store/line of various custom made items and products that will never stray from my fanatical level of quality, plus much more. I hope you all understand and I cannot wait to work on all kinds of new projects/jobs and get to meet some cool, new people. Many thanks from MFU LLC!

On 41 East Main St on the Starbucks side of the building, I tore out a badly rotted steel staircase leading from the basement of the building up to ground level, then rebuilt an entirely new staircase to match the pre-existing one. Myself and the customer were exceptionally pleased with how it came out!

Something pretty sweet showed up a few days ago and I finally got a chance to unbox it, put the wheels on, add fuel, oil, etc. Now I will have the power to run all my tools and equipment when I have mobile jobs.

I have put up with a shop that is a sub-par level of organized and efficient, and it isn't going to clean itself! I bought two 32"x72" Craftsman storage cabinets and one of those 46" Yukon rolling boxes from Harbor Freight, with one heavy-duty drawer at the top and double doors for bulk storage at the bottom, plus divided organizers for drill bits, thread taps, riv-nuts, etc. Let's goooooo!!

A friend of mine has a mallet that he uses frequently for work. The two sided mallet features a brass face and a white plastic face (Delrin or UHMW), but he rarely needed or used the plastic side. I machined a solid steel mallet head/face that matched the existing threads of the mallet body. I fully polished it merely for initial representation value, even though it will start to rust almost immediately.

I'm almost done with the can filling assembly. It's a prototype and the next version should be able to fill multiple cans at the same time, with a more fine-tuned design. Excuse the terrible looking temporary spacer under the can. This assembly is designed to fill cans of various heights.

Here is the basic structure of the flatbed sitting on the frame of the truck, minus the rectangular tubes for the sides and back. It will have a headboard with a 2,500lb winch mounted to it, and then a 4ft tall x 5ft wide adjustable, folding crane-type assembly in the rear of the bed.
