Just for curiosity sake, we weighed our bone stock 2 seat Pro R Ultimate with a 1/4 tank of fuel. The only changes so far are the 35" Roxxzilla which are 15lbs heavier per corner than the stock 32" tires. Pretty heavy gal!

.brother.racing and I got it done! 4900 Stock Class national champions, and west coast series champs! Heck of a year and more fun than should be allowed! Thanks .nasso for putting up with me being gone all year with racing shenanigans! Thanks .smith1948, .jl , .smith_, and .yoder.co for letting me tag along this year and help out where I could! Time to get ready for Hammers 2023!

If they say a bad day racing is better than a good day at work, then how good is a great weekend racing? Great job Smith Brother Racing on pulling a solid weekend together!

Coming into this race I knew I had to redeem my loss at Area BFE and get a podium to stay in the race for national and western points. We arrived in Prairie City on Thursday night and got set up. Friday morning we mounted bead-locks on a set of Desert storm tires to try out. In qualifying I got 9th place overall and 4th in my class with a not so stellar performance. Saturday morning was the Stock preliminary race, I started off the race in the 2nd row and and stayed in 4th place throughout most of the short course, in the rocks is where I passed, I quickly jumped to the 1st position spot on the first lap and held it for the remainder of the preliminary race. Later Saturday afternoon was the main utv race. All classes started together. Starting off 4th I maintained that position for a while and got passed and did some passing as well. The race was a very fast sprint to the finish and I ended up in the 3rd position overall and 1st in my class, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!! My new axles, in my hubs and spindles is the best of the best in parts. The took a absolute beating and held together!

Reposted from .brother.racing Area BFE was a brutal race this year for Smith Brother Racing I qualified 7th overall with some very fast people in front of me and knew it was going to take a lot of work to get to the leaders. On race day we started off and ran a very fast first lap, we moved up 4 positions before lap one was over! And on lap 2 and 3 I was sitting 3rd overall and first in my class. I kept that position until I had a CV failure at the beginning of lap 3 and I was down 1 cv for most of the lap until I broke a second one and then I was out of the race for the win in my class. I was lucky enough to have Infinity Fab and Performance] Cory Nasso as my co driver in the car with me, he sprung into action and we got the cv fixed with a spare I carried on the car. By that time we had lost the opportunity to finish the race because of how much time we had lost. We limped the car back on 3 axles and got some points for completing the 3rd lap. Cory Nasso and I built a car fast enough to compete out of our class and it showed in the first part of the race. I’m extremely happy with what we achieved and will be coming back even stronger for our next race in May.

Been working on a project to help speed up efficiency and improve the quality of work I can do. The first pic is my (I think) final revision. The following photos are various stages of the designs that I've gone through.

This table will have a 1/2" top with a 4x4" 5/8" hole pattern, as well as a 4x4" 3/8-16 threaded hole pattern. The frame is all .250" wall 3x3 or 2x3 tubing, fully gusseted throughout. It houses 2 Harbor Freight boxes, and has 4 swing out doors to store various tools on the inside and maintain a tidy appearance. Other features are a vice mount, tig rod holder mount, a full floor in the bottom for storage of larger tools, and all supported by 6 1100lb capacity casters.

Unfortunately, materials and waterjet lead time mean this project won't start taking form until middle to end of April. Stay tuned

Making sure to give credit where credit is due is so incredibly important. We had a slight troubleshooting issue with our Switch Pros unit in Smith Brother Racing new Pro XP, and we swung by the Switch-Pros booth at KOH. Robert jumped right in with some specialty tools we didn't have and significantly shortcut our troubleshooting, then went ahead and fixed our issues. When you consider products, you should also consider the support after the fact, and they are all top notch people. Thanks so much guys!
