Earlier this month, we welcomed students from LA Tech College of Business for a closer look at our companies and the accounting and finance teams behind them.
Students toured DIS-TRAN Steel, LLC 's Tioga facility before heading to Crest Headquarters for lunch, a look at our family of companies, and conversations with accounting team members from Crest Operations, Beta, Mid-State Supply, and DIS-TRAN Steel.
Thanks to the students for bringing great questions and to our team members for sharing their time and experience! 🌟

⚙️ From big ideas to hands-on experiences, Crest Manufacturing Day 2026 brought the energy! ⚡ Last Friday, we welcomed 250 students from the Central Louisiana region to our annual kickoff to Manufacturing Month. Students heard from industry professionals, connected with colleges, and explored manufacturing careers in our area. To every school that showed up and showed out: thank you! 🙌

📣To Hayes Manufacturing, the American Welding Society, DIS-TRAN Steel, LLCl, DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette College of Engineering, Central Louisiana Technical Community College, and Northwestern State University, thank you for helping make this day so impactful for our students.

Brock joined Mid-State Supply as President this September, bringing more than 27 years of leadership experience in manufacturing and operations.

His career has included leadership roles with BP/Castrol, H-E-B, and Procter & Gamble, where he developed a passion for building strong teams, improving businesses, and helping people succeed.

Brock shared this message as he begins his journey with MSS:
“I’m proud to be part of Mid-State Supply as we look toward the future. From day one, my focus has been simple: listen, learn, and get to know our people, our customers, and our business. This year, we’re proud to partner with The Maegan Baum Foundation for CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini's annual Gleaux for the Girls 1-Mile Fun Run! This partnership holds special meaning for our team.
Maegan joined DIS-TRAN Steel, LLC in 2009 and remained a devoted team member until her passing in 2024. Throughout her nearly 15 years with the company, Maegan’s dedication and joyful spirit made a lasting impact on those who knew and worked alongside her.
Gleaux for the Girls raises funds to support patients and families across Central Louisiana as they navigate cancer treatment. We’re honored to support a cause making a meaningful difference in our community—and we hope to see you there!
