Killed me to watch a beautiful (almost grand) Live oak in my neighborhood get removed today. It was the nicest tree on the block, possibly the entire neighborhood. I really wish that tree would've been on my property. Some homeowners are so scared of trees. They dont realize that they bring value to their property, like a lot! No way it qualified for an arborist report and I highly doubt it was permitted. Alot of these arborist are writting letters for trees which do not qualify as moderate risk. We, as arborists need to educate homeowners on the value of trees.

Another one bites the dust out in Saint Petersburg. Homeowner called us wanting an arborist assessment of her trees because she could tell they were in decline. We did an assessment & I am glad she gave us a call! I don’t think her trees would have made it through another hurricane season!
