Job Summary:
The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for mechanical assembling products and components according to specifications and quality standards per various customer specifications/drawings. This role involves using tools, machinery, and equipment to complete tasks, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and collaborating with team members to meet production targets. Familiarity with assembly tools and ability to interpret assembly drawings a plus.

1. Assembly Operations:

We are currently hiring a Full Time CNC Programmer/Operator to work in our Pine City Location. Responsibilities include:

• Set up and run CNC mills with Fanuc Controls
• Read Set up sheets and prints to determine set up and operating requirements.
• Mount material in machine, manually or using overhead crane
• Select tooling in sequence specified per set up
• Review control panel and compare to prints to verify any deviations prior to machining
• Verify completed parts are made to print
• Programmer Role: Must have experience with MasterCAM

Position: Electrical Control Panel Builder/Assembler:

Advance Design & Systems is a growing Custom Automation Design Company. We specialize in automated equipment, prototype fixtures and tooling for the medical, aerospace, web handling and water filtration industries. The main objective of the Electrical Control Panel Builder is to be proficient at building control panels. This involves wire handling, wire labeling, terminal labeling, knowing how to layout panels, and reading schematics. The technician must also use hand tools in an efficient manner.
To be successful in the role, the Electrical Control Panel Builder must demonstrate the ability to follow directions, be on time, be respectful of others, be a team player, accurately complete the job and daily time sheets, take accurate notes, keep the work-space clean and organized, and consistently provide accurate documentation of work completed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for operation; and record results.
• Assemble electrical systems and support structures; and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering and micro-welding equipment.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
