FYI - Check Up on your Building Codes

The majority of jurisdictions within a 50-mile radius of Baltimore have fully adopted IBC 2021 ...Yes, 3-years old now.

However, Howard County has recently adopted 2024 IBC , while Prince George's is still holding on to 2018 IBC.

Be advised, that all jurisdictions' will still also enforce some of their own local and additional MD state amendments

But, we prepared design plans then applied for a building addition permit in Baltimore City on 3/11 and just got an email notice for approval today, 3/13.

YES…you read that correctly…we receive an approved permit in 2-Days!!! Zero review comments!

Designing a 6 Bed/6 Bath in 21214…2756 sqft of above grade finished space, 1378 sqft of finished basement…250 sqft deck and 250 sqft of outdoor entertaining available beneath the deck.

I’m really excited for the design and looking forward to keeping up with the construction on this one!!!
