Is there such a thing as 'too simple' when it comes to terrariums? This 4x4x2" terrarium includes only UNS controsoil, a few rocks, and anubias nana petite.

I've never kept a scape this simple before. I love the way it looks but I'm really not sure how it may look a few months from now. Do you see any potential issues with this scape?

I like to sit in front of this terrarium and pretend I'm a tiny person inside, exploring the jungle.

This is the largest terrarium I have, and also the most difficult to get pictures of. It's located in a narrow hallway and I can't get back far enough to get pictures of the entire thing. So until I get a wide-angle lens, you guys get little pieces at a time 🙃

I'm always looking for better ways to utilize my space, and for ways to get more moss! This solution accomplishes both of those perfectly. I love watching the moss fill in and I can't wait to yank it all out to use in other terrariums 😁

I was gifted some long, narrow, tempered glass shelves a few months ago and decided to turn them into shallow mossariums. This one is displayed in my work office on a long conference room table, where it glows beautifully when the room is not in use and the lights are off. These photos are from October, and since then roughly 50% of the substrate has been covered with moss. I suspect we'll have a dense carpet in another month or two.

Ever grabbed a jar and thought "🤔 this would make a cool terrarium!" Only to have it turn into a moldy, funky mess? Don't give up, dump it out and start over! I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact trigger that makes these survive, but sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. This one in particular has been going strong for over six months!

As the weather in Phoenix starts to cool off, a lot of my social media time has been pushed off for hikes, other outdoor activities, selling my planty creations at local plant swaps, and getting my business/website up and running. I'm still around, just prioritizing some other things for a little while 😁

I hope everyone had a wonderful September and enjoys the upcoming spooky season 🎃
