October marks National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Energy Fox Solutions is honored to again highlight the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) as our October Charity of the Month.
NOVA proudly serves as the Training & Technical Assistance Provider for the Office on Violence Against Women Advocating for Military-Connected Survivors Project and the Campus Advocacy Program. In this role, the project team provides trauma-informed, inclusive, and culturally responsive training and technical assistance to community advocates, civilian criminal justice, and allied professionals responding to student survivors and military-connected survivors (active duty members, National Guard/Reserve, Veterans, and Family members) of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking (DVSAS).
From helping professionals respond to domestic and dating violence to supporting military-connected survivors and their families, NOVA works to strengthen the network of people standing beside survivors when they need it most.
This October, we're honored to shine a light on NOVA and their commitment to helping survivors find safety, support, and a path forward.
