Meet the talented crew behind IAP's Machine Shop: Lead Machinist Eric Z., Machinist Wyatt N., and Machinist Jody M. Together, they play a critical role in producing the high-quality components our customers count on every day.

As Lead Machinist, Eric sets the standard through his precision, strong work ethic, and commitment to finding the best solution for every job. He also had a few words to share about his teammates:

After nearly 30 years of service, an aging roof exhaust fan was ready for an upgrade, and we were excited to deliver a solution.

-48” Vaneaxial fan producing 45,000 ACFM with a 30HP motor
-Upgraded from heavy steel to lightweight aluminum construction
-Replaced inefficient weather cap with a wind-band & gravity damper
-Enhanced maintenance access with a quick-latch swingout system and track-supported door

The result? A more efficient, easier-to-maintain system designed for long-term performance.

These (2) 54” high-pressure process fans, each driven by 400HP VFD-controlled motors, are built for reliability in a demanding glass container manufacturing environment.

-Designed with thermal overload protection, bearing sensors, and actuated inlet dampers
-Constructed with precision—all welds liquid dye penetrant tested before applying an 8 mil epoxy coating
-Finished with a full-speed (1780 RPM) factory mechanical trim balance to ensure peak performance

Earlier this year, employee Dave Korab, came to us with a project he wanted to devote some of his time to. His local VFW was in need of a new burn barrel to dispose of old and tattered flags. Dave and IAP came up w/ a one-of-a-kind design to honor all branches of armed forces.

We recently engineered direct-driven, 51” diameter fans for an industrial kiln application in the pollution control industry. These fans generate process air for kilns that produce ceramic catalyst materials, which are critical components used in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and CO₂ capture systems.

Key features include:
-Stainless steel alloy airstream materials for continuous operation at 1275°F with a 1500°F maximum design
-5” thick casing insulation with cladding to ensure operator safety and reduce system heat loss
-Precision-engineered for high performance in extreme temperatures
