✈️ Most travelers will never notice it, but every detail behind the scenes helps keep an airport running safely and efficiently.

Last week, our team delivered Wiremold for the PHL D&E Checkpoint & Curtain Wall Project at the Philadelphia International Airport.

I always think it’s cool when people get a glimpse into what happens behind the scenes on projects like this.

So... what IS Wiremold?

Think of Wiremold as a protective highway for electrical wiring.

Instead of opening finished walls or ceilings to run new power or data cables, contractors install Wiremold on the surface which saves time, minimizes disruption, and avoids major demolition.

You’ll find it in airports, hospitals, schools, offices, and other commercial buildings where electrical systems need to be added or modified after the building is already finished.

For this project, Manna Supply didn’t just provide the material. We received it, stored it in our warehouse, and delivered it directly to the jobsite so the electrical contractor had what they needed, when they needed it.

It’s easy to think construction is only about what’s being built, but there’s so much that happens before the first piece is ever installed. Every delivery, every pallet, and every bit of coordination helps keep a project moving.

Proud to see another Manna truck on a Philadelphia jobsite, and this one happened to be parked next to a United plane.
