My last Express Carwash opens today...was an interesting journey...started in 2020...bought by an east coast Investment group who thought they knew how to build it quicker and cheaper...not so...took 120 days longer than a ground up project...and I won't even hint at the over runs...but the GC did a fine job.

Built a commission window maybe 30 years ago....my friend had me store it 5 years ago as they sold their house...they now want to move it across country to install it in their summer retreat...I have packed it for the trip. Debbie Lynn Shreve you will remember building this...thank you for doing a fine job.

Jeff with Champion Painting just finished the interior of our home....we are putting stuff back....lots of glass...and of course cleaning and thinning out stuff...I attached a couple of images of the cherry China hutch I built for Vicki..45 years ago...

This is an image of an article by Linda Kauss with the Gazette about the Interior Design program at ASU and a design project that we participated in for the ASU College of Law. This was 46 years ago. The image shows Diane Naus and myself reviewing plans of the the rotunda. Linda quoted me saying "You can only take so many design problems from class. It is hard to make up a client in your head. You don't get feedback from an imaginary client. The real one pins you down, questions you, discovers inadequacies in your design."

This is true today and always has been. That is what I love about design and architecture...that interaction and the solution for the client.
