Brownsville Welding is hiring for a laborer position. This position requires you to be flexible in your day-to-day tasks, a special eye for detail, being able to lift heavy objects, ability to multitask and finish all tasks given, in a timely manner.

Experience with finger files, grinders, buffing wheels and other metal detailing tools is a plus.

Some day-to-day duties will include: unloading and organizing material from our supply deliveries, detailing welds on fabricated projects (railing, spiral staircases, fencing, etc) delivering projects to the powder coated and/ or sandblaster, picking up material, assisting the welders and installation crew on material set up and carious other labor duties.

Pay is dependent on experience with room to grow. With very little turnover in our shop, we are looking for a long-term employee

Ideal candidate must be able to pay special attention to detail and be self-motivated to work with minimal supervision. Your job would consist of grinding and cleaning up weld spots on fabricated projects before they get powder coated, assist the installation crew, when needed, material handling and checking, and other various duties. We are a Drug Free Workplace. Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid DL.
