Serving your brick and masonry needs proudly for over 125 years! W. R. Taylor & Co. has been located in historic downtown Pensacola, Florida for over 100 Years.
(1)

We are Pensacola’s # 1 source for all masonry products: brick, stone, pavers, thin brick, porcelain pavers/tile, masonry fireplaces, etc. Originally stables trading in horses, mules, harnesses, hay, feed, and wagons in the 1900’s, Taylor Brick and Tile was formed in the early 1930′s. The brick were made in round beehive kilns in nearby Barth, Florida and sold from our downtown Pensacola location along with other hardware. Over the years, the horses, tack, and hardware were phased out and brick became our main product. Our showroom is a state-of-the art brick studio boasting the largest selection of brick in Northwest Florida. Our showroom is also home to high-quality specialty products including cultured stone, cast concrete, color mortars, brick pavers, and fireplace materials. We also can order almost any masonry product you can think of.

Brick or vinyl siding? The differences go beyond appearance.

Brick stands apart with benefits that support safety, performance, and long-term value:

🔥 Fire response: Brick is non-combustible, while vinyl siding can melt or deform under high heat.
🌡️ Thermal mass: Brick absorbs and releases heat gradually, making it a valuable part of an energy-conscious wall system.
🏠 Long-term value: Brick is durable and low-maintenance, while vinyl may fade, warp, or crack over time.
🌿 Natural materials: Brick is made primarily from natural clay and shale, while vinyl siding is made from PVC plastic.

During Energy Awareness Month, Fire Prevention Month, and Manufacturing Month, choose a building material built to last.

Build with confidence. Build with Palmetto Brick.
