A Distinctive Finish for a New Oil Change Facility in Jackson, Tennessee.

For this new-construction project, ArmaCrete completed a Class A polished concrete finish with dye stain, adding rich color while keeping the slab’s natural character visible.

The result is a floor with depth, subtle variation and a highly reflective finish. Each slab accepts color differently, giving the finished surface its own appearance.

A distinctive space starts from the ground up.

A New Look for United Rentals in Pearl, Mississippi.

For this tenant fit-out, ArmaCrete transformed an existing concrete slab that had been covered by vinyl composition tile (VCT) for years.

After removing the tile, we polished the concrete beneath it, revealing the slab’s natural character. The finished appearance was a discovery—and the customer loved the result.

Every existing slab has a story. Sometimes, a fresh look starts with uncovering what’s already there.

Small Detail, Big Impact: Properly Filled Control Joints.

At a chicken processing plant in Morton, Mississippi, ArmaCrete installed polyurea joint filler in a freezer’s concrete control joints at 25°F.

Heavy wheeled traffic can take a toll on exposed joint edges, leaving them vulnerable to chipping and spalling. A properly selected and installed semi-rigid polyurea filler supports those edges and helps protect them from repeated traffic impact.

It’s a small part of the floor, but one that can make a meaningful difference in long-term performance—especially in demanding processing environments.

A Polished Floor With Its Own Character.

For this new U-Haul facility in Pearl, Mississippi, ArmaCrete completed a Class A polish—a cement-fines, or “cream,” finish that keeps the concrete’s natural surface character in view.

Subtle shifts in tone and texture give each slab its own identity. This finish embraces those variations, creating a clean, understated appearance that is distinctly concrete.

A thoughtful flooring choice starts with understanding both the space and the look you want to achieve.

Two Years Later—and Still Doing Its Job.

At a busy steel coating plant in central Mississippi, industrial walkways need to support safe movement through the facility while standing up to daily use.

ArmaCrete completed these resinous walkways in October 2024. The first photos show the finished installation; the second set shows those same walkways two years later—a look at performance beyond installation day.

Safety and longevity start with the foundation. Proper substrate preparation and a flooring system selected for the facility’s traffic, exposure and maintenance needs help support lasting performance. Routine cleaning and inspections also help keep walkways ready for daily use.

When choosing an industrial floor, think beyond its initial appearance. The right preparation, system selection and ongoing care can make a difference for years to come.

Project Highlight: HMMA Oil Storage Building | Montgomery, AL

For this new secondary-containment building at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, ArmaCrete installed a layered resinous flooring system featuring a 1/4" Poly-Crete® MD urethane cement base, high-solids epoxy intermediate coats, and an HTS 100 urethane finish.

The system extends over the 8-inch curbing, providing continuous protection across the floor-to-wall transition. Poly-Crete® MD was selected for its moisture-mitigating properties and resistance to thermal shock—key considerations in demanding industrial environments.

The epoxy and urethane layers complete the assembly with a continuous, cleanable surface and chemical-resistant protection suited to the facility’s service conditions.

Built for industrial performance, from the base coat through the finish.

Project Highlight: Defense Contractor Bathroom Renovation

ArmaCrete installed a Resuflor® Deco Flake system in the 1/8" Gravel blend, finished with HTS 100 high-performance urethane and a 6" integral cove base with a formed radius.

The continuous resinous floor and cove base provide a smooth, easy-to-clean transition from floor to wall. The decorative flake creates a clean, professional appearance, while the urethane finish provides chemical resistance for demanding service environments.

A durable flooring solution designed to support the facility’s maintenance and sanitation needs.

A successful flooring project begins with understanding the condition of the concrete—not simply installing the system shown in the original specification.

At the Hinds Community College WIN Job Center in Jackson, Mississippi, approximately 8,000 square feet of training-lab flooring was initially specified to receive a thin-mil epoxy and urethane system. However, ArmaCrete’s in-situ moisture probe testing identified elevated moisture conditions associated with the absence of an under-slab moisture v***r barrier. Based on those findings, the flooring assembly was upgraded to provide the protection and durability the facility required.

Our work included mechanically preparing the existing concrete, completing necessary surface repairs, and installing a 1/4-inch Poly-Crete MDB urethane cement broadcast system with epoxy intermediate coats and a high-performance urethane finish.

The completed system provides a seamless, durable, and easy-to-maintain surface designed for the demanding conditions of an active educational and workforce-training environment. Working closely with BIG Construction, our crew completed the full installation in just seven days.

Proper testing. The right system. A floor built for long-term performance.

Planning a Facility Upgrade? Start From the Floor Up.

Facility improvements are often focused on equipment, workflow, lighting, and infrastructure—but flooring can have a major impact on the long-term performance and appearance of a commercial or industrial space.

The right concrete flooring system should be selected based on how the facility actually operates.

A warehouse or distribution center may require a solution capable of handling constant equipment and forklift traffic. A manufacturing environment may need additional resistance to abrasion, chemicals, or spills. Commercial spaces may prioritize durability while also requiring a clean, professional finish.

That is why there is no single flooring system that is right for every facility.

ArmaCrete provides polished concrete and high-performance epoxy/resinous flooring solutions designed around the demands of commercial and industrial environments.

We work with general contractors, operations managers, facility managers, and project teams on new construction, renovations, expansions, and existing floor upgrades.

Serving Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, and the Florida Panhandle.
