Are you a community that relies on revenue generated by tourism to provide your residents desired services? Then try this ~
Local Government Leaders: Know your area uniqueness then sustain it and build upon it. This by expecting the deeper work to be done, both by those inside and outside your organization. The easy work is doing it like everybody else, but that can result in another "Anytown USA". Create a political and policy environment with enough regulatory breathing room so that it attracts private property development creativity. Guard your critical infrastructure and the financial resourses needed to do that. The superior developers and tourists will find you.
Private Real Estate Developers: Find special communities with local government flavor described above. If they haven't created an environment whereby your knowledge of the market is respected, then your vision of success can be diluted. Superior developers are not opposed to a community's bar that has been set high.
