We’re wrapping up National Scholarship Month by encouraging future community builders to apply for a G3 Engineering & Surveying Scholarship!

G3 awards three $1,000 scholarships each year to students pursuing civil engineering, surveying, GIS, land planning, landscape architecture, stormwater management, and related fields.

Graduating high school seniors and current students attending or planning to attend an eligible college, university, or technical institution in North Carolina or South Carolina are encouraged to apply.

This week marked 18 years since *The Hunger Games* began. With much of the first movie filmed in North Carolina, a state G3 is proud to serve, we thought it was only fitting to ask our team one very important question:

Technology is changing how we work, but experience is still what makes it valuable.

This morning, Stephen Williams, M.S., PLS, GISP, G3 Technology Solutions Director, joined fellow industry professionals for an AI panel discussion at the Cape Fear CREW Annual Meeting in Wilmington.

As the leader of G3’s AI initiatives, Stephen shared how we are strategically incorporating AI into our operations to create efficiencies, strengthen workflows, and support our team, while recognizing the importance of professional judgment, appropriate guardrails, and real-world experience.

Stephen’s leadership at the intersection of GIS, technology, and AI is helping G3 evaluate and implement new tools in ways that deliver real value to our team and ultimately to the clients and communities we serve.

Amy Kanarr Naugle, PE, PMP, G3 Wilmington Branch Manager and Cape Fear CREW member, also represented G3 as we continue to build connections within the Wilmington market.
