Guzman's Machine Works, Inc. in Paulina, Louisiana is now hiring! We are growing fast and in order to meet the demand for our services, we are looking for Machinists and Millwrights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum high school or equivalent education.
- Must pass a background, drug, and physical screening.
- Well-built organizational skills.
- Extensive experience in the use of all machine shop or millwright equipment.
- Employee must have their own craft tools.
- Solid understanding of machine or millwright math and concepts.
- Thorough knowledge of blue print readings.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Manufacture or repair finish products by industry standard specifications: conduct measurement and visual inspections set forward by management.
- Follow through completed job task operations in order for management to effectively track company's operation flow.
- Maintain company-owned machinery and equipment operating smoothly and to company expectations, reporting all need for repairs to management.
- Must have and practice safety awareness and compliance at all times.
