We’re proud to support the United Way of Lamar County and the incredible work they do to strengthen our community.

This morning, team members from HWH, along with our sister companies Rodgers Wade and We Pack Logistics, gathered for the United Way of Lamar County annual breakfast. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the impact of local giving and recognize the organizations and individuals working to make a difference right here at home.

We’re honored to be a longtime supporter of United Way and grateful for the opportunity to come together as the Harper Companies family to invest in the people and communities that make Lamar County such a special place to call home.

With high temperatures upon us, we want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. Heat safety doesn't start when you clock in - it begins at home. How you treat your body outside of work directly affects your safety during shifts.

Remember these core guidelines to protect yourself both on and off the job.

Meet one of HWH’s 2026 summer interns, Aaron Wilson!

Aaron is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at Auburn University and is spending the summer interning with our Engineering/Design team.

Aaron chose a career in engineering because he has always enjoyed designing things and discovered a passion for engineering through the classes he took in high school.

One of the most rewarding skills he has learned during his time at HWH is surveying, gaining valuable hands-on field experience that has strengthened his understanding of the construction process.

After graduation, Aaron hopes to build a stable, rewarding career while continuing to enjoy life and grow professionally.

Fun Fact: Aaron is a hooper! 🏀

Meet one of HWH’s 2026 summer interns, Davion Harrison!

Davion is a Finance major at Arizona State University and is spending the summer gaining hands-on experience with Project Black Horse.

Davion chose this internship to gain real-world experience and learn more about the business side of the construction industry.

One of the coolest things he has learned during his time at HWH is that there's more than one way to approach a task, reinforcing the importance of adaptability, problem-solving, and learning from different perspectives.

After graduation, Davion hopes to pursue a career in financial sales or investment banking.

Chris is a Business major at Henderson State University and is spending the summer gaining hands-on experience with Project Black Horse.

One of the most valuable lessons he has learned during his time at HWH is the importance of being knowledgeable and well-rounded. It has shown him the value of understanding every aspect of a project and embracing continuous learning.

After graduation, Chris hopes to invest in foundation businesses and build a successful career in the business world.

Meet one of HWH’s summer interns, McKenna Guest!

McKenna has earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and is pursuing a Master's degree in Project Management at the University of New Mexico. This summer, she's interning with our Marketing team, where she's combining creativity and strategy to help share the HWH story.

McKenna chose a career in marketing because she's passionate about understanding how consumers think and using that knowledge to create meaningful content. She enjoys bringing ideas to life through creative storytelling and has discovered just how much marketing plays a role in the construction industry. During her internship, she's expanded her skills by learning new Adobe platforms and turning technical information into engaging, easy-to-understand content.

After graduation, McKenna hopes to start her own business, giving her the opportunity to build her own brand and create meaningful work while helping others market themselves successfully.

Fun fact: McKenna plays softball for the University of New Mexico!

Nolan is studying Finance at SMU. This summer, he's interning with our Black Horse team, where he's gaining valuable experience and learning more about the construction industry.

Nolan was drawn to the industry because of the opportunity to work with people and the potential to travel while building a rewarding career. Through his internship, he's had the chance to see firsthand how teamwork and collaboration help keep projects moving forward.

After graduation, Nolan hopes to build a successful career that provides opportunities for growth and a rewarding future.

Fun fact: Nolan enjoys playing golf in his free time!
