Most marine panels are built "thick," but standard rocker switches are only rated for 1/4" max. At 3/8", they just float. Even at 1/4", they can pop out in heavy chop.

We mill our mounting zones down to 3/16". It’s the sweet spot for a locked-in fit and a proper gasket seal.

It’s the small details that make panel assembly and fabrication actually last. Custom dash builds for those who know the difference. ⚓️
