At PSMC's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, the infusion team works with primary care providers and specialists to provide outpatient intravenous and injectable therapies.
PSMC accepts orders from all in-state licensed providers, so the patient can go to the provider of their choice and still receive their injection/infusion treatment in Pagosa Springs.
PSMC's Infusion Services
· Has 7 state-of-the-art recliner chairs with heat/massage/personal TV
· Has a private infusion room
· Is open Mon-Thurs 8am to 4pm
· Accepts provider orders even if they are not from PSMC
Services provided:
· IV hydration
· IV medications (antibiotics, osteoporosis, rheumatology, lung disease, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s, blood disorders, and more).
· Chemotherapies/biotherapies
· Therapeutic phlebotomies
· SQ and IM injections
· Preventative medications (such as osteoporosis medications)
· Central line maintenance/flushing
· Blood transfusions
