Klauber Machine & Gear Co. Founded in 1950, Klauber Machine & Gear Co. specializes in the design and manufacture of fractional horsepower gearmotors. ft.

KMG is continuously updating equipment, processes and our facility. In addition to moving into our new 60,000 sq. manufacturing facility, we continue to update our manufacturing processes, including our automated gear hobbing department and our CNC machining center and lathe departments. We employ a variety of proven manufacturing techniques and constantly search for improved and more efficient pr

ocesses to control or cut costs. As further value-added to our customers, we test each gearmotor that we build under load prior to shipment, to assure proper function. Through these on-going efforts, we can offer decreasing lead times to customers along with increasing quality performance. Typical OEM lead times range from 8-10 weeks. All gear hobbing/machining, gearmotor assembly, product design and development, and in-house customer service are located in our Pacific, MO, USA facility. Klauber is a member of the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA).

Klauber Machine & Gear Welcomes New Plant Manager Steven Travis!

Pacific, MO – Klauber Machine & Gear announced that Steven Travis has joined the company in the role of Plant Manager. Steven has a successful track record in manufacturing, engineering, and business development at companies including
Briggs & Stratton, Kohler Engine, Liquid Combustion Technology, and most recently, GE Aviation with Belcan Engineering. Travis will manage Klauber’s manufacturing facility in Pacific, Missouri. His responsibilities include servicing customers, developing internal teams, optimizing processes and production, and ensuring a safe work environment.

“We are excited to welcome Steven Travis to Klauber Machine & Gear and the Trident Motion team,” said David Nussear, President/CEO of Trident Motion.

“We also want to thank Jeff Van Dixhorn for his many years of excellent work, and wish him the very best during his retirement.”
