Pro-Bore Principles
David Rust
Current President of Pro-Bore, David Rust, began his career in underground utility work in 1993 when he joined his father in the business. Dave's experience in the intricate art of safely installing underground utilities includes digging over transcontinental gas lines; horizontal directional drilling under wetlands; operating vibratory plows for service to residenc
es; and using backhoes for work around 2400 pr. He has bored out to diameters of 12 inches and lengths of over 550'; plowed over 900 feet without breaks; and pipe fused 1.5 inches to 4 inches of polyethylene. Dave has been working closely with all the above since his entry into this business and stays abreast of all new developments in the industry. Crews are fully trained before operating any equipment on a jobsite and have supervision until management is satisfied they have the expertise necessary to work independently. Equipment is maintained on a regular basis to ensure dependability and safe work conditions. This officer of the company believes in taking the time to explain installation processes to customers so they understand and can help decide the best way to achieve their goals. Bill Rust
Bill started in the business in the mid 1970's as an installation company and then a splicing company. In the mid 1980's he entered the world of aerial and underground construction. A decision was made in the mid 1990's to concentrate on underground construction and he added horizontal directional Drilling (HDD). Today, Pro-Bore can HDD CATV, phone, electric, phone, sewer, and water pipe or conduit up to 18 inches in diameter. With the ability to heat fusion, they can run a poly pipe almost any distance. Combined, this father/son team has over 50 years of experience and it would be difficult to find an application they can't handle. However, if that should happen you will know up front and they won't take on the job.
