So we made this today. This mornings lesson and project was Carl’s first rose. He did a really good job with minimal guidance. We brass brushed it to age it some and then finished off with a beeswax finish.

This was a little out of the norm for the functional blacksmithing we usually do, but it was fun.

Don’t forget, tomorrow (Saturday) is the Roots and Rows Harvest Festival on Walters Road in Creedmoor. Good music, good food, and almost 70 vendors will be set up.

We are just at a month away from the Roots and Rows Harvest Festival in Creedmoor. Last year was our first year and we really enjoyed ourselves. Clear your calendar for Sept 26th and join us for some great food, great live music and some local vendors.

I haven’t posted in a while. Been swamped but here are a couple nice finished recently. The first is the 41 layer Damascus I’ve been working on for a year with Martin Seck for my Wife’s Bday in July. The second in a cypress hunter with an English Bridle leather sheath available at the end of September at the Roots and Rows Harvest Festival on Sept 26th. Hope to see yall there.
