⚙️ New Case Study! ⚙️

A hyperbaric chamber is a cylinder that increases healing by increasing oxygen delivery under pressure. The bed inside it has to roll smoothly into its interior, keep patients safe, and integrate with the rest of the chamber’s equipment.

Epigenetics Healing Center came to Finite needing a custom bed and support assembly for their hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber. Their existing equipment didn't meet requirements, and they'd already engaged an engineering team that didn't work out. They were looking for a partner who could jump right in from the first conversation.

We worked closely with our client to design an approximately 80-pound custom assembly engineered to roll smoothly on the chamber's curved interior and floor, with adjustable height. Every requirement was captured in our initial consultation and led to a fast project delivery.

In typical new product development frameworks, engineers run the analysis phase near the end of the process. “Design first, validate after” is not uncommon.

However, the design decisions made early on can quickly become constraints. If design issues aren’t discovered until late-stage validation, they can turn into costly redesigns or, worse, mechanical failure in the field.
