On June 7, approximately 125 BRS team members came together to participate in and volunteer for the inaugural Big River Steel Strong Charity Cup. Despite the weather, nearly 100 team members hit the course with enthusiasm, proving that not even a little rain could dampen our spirit of giving.
Thanks to the incredible support from our team and generous vendors, BRS and BRS Cares proudly presented a check for $115,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mid-South. This contribution will help bring joy and hope to children facing critical illnesses.
A special highlight of the day was hearing from a Make-A-Wish Mid-South alumni family from right here in Mississippi County, Arkansas whose story reminded us all of the real impact behind our efforts.

BRS Goes BIG Over Memorial Day Weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway!

The Memorial Day weekend tradition roared to life as race teams headed to Wheatland, Missouri, for three thrilling nights in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series during the iconic Show Me 100 weekend.

Thursday Night:
The Big River Steel-sponsored teams dominated the track with Hudson O’Neal taking 1st place and Devin Moran securing 2nd.

Friday Night:
Hudson O'Neal claimed another victory in the SSI Motorsports #71, while Devin Moran and the #99 Double Down Motorsports team finished strong in 5th.

Saturday Night – Show Me 100 ($75,000 to win):
BRS-sponsored teams wrapped up the weekend with impressive 3rd and 4th place finishes.

Huge congratulations to both teams on a stellar weekend of racing!
As they leave Missouri, Devin Moran sits 3rd and Hudson O’Neal 4th in the series point standings.

A GoBig! shoutout to our amazing team members who rolled up their sleeves—literally—for our recent onsite blood drive!
Thanks to their generosity, we didn’t just meet our donation goals—we exceeded them!
Since one unit of blood donated can potentially save three lives, these donations will have a powerful and lasting impact. The commitment to giving back is what makes this Big River Steel team so special. Thank you for being difference-makers!

The Osceola Heritage MusicFest was truly one for the books! Big River Steel was honored to be the presenting sponsor of such an incredible event.

From start to finish, every act lit up the stage—and with co-headliners Tracy Byrd and Shenandoah, it’s no wonder the turnout was record-breaking!

What made it even more special was the hometown feel—families gathered, neighbors catching up, kids dancing, and a community coming together in the best possible way.

The two Big River Steel-sponsored Dirt Late Model racing teams are once again battling it out in the 2025 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series!

Devin Moran is behind the wheel of the Roger Sellers-owned Double Down Motorsports #99 and is currently tied for the lead in the Big River Steel Chase for the Championship standings. With four series victories so far, Devin and the team are off to a strong start!

Hudson O'Neal pilots the Todd and Vickie Burns-owned SSI Motorsports #71 and currently sits in eighth place in the championship chase, looking to climb the leaderboard as the season progresses.

Both teams have already competed in Georgia, Florida, Ohio, and Indiana and will return to action in late April.

We’re excited to follow their journey throughout the season and wish them the best as they continue their quest for the 2025 Championship title!
