Under general supervision, the Pump Repair Technician performs a wide variety of skilled, high-level duties in the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of pumps used in general industrial applications.
Troubleshoots, disassembles, cleans, and repairs various types of vertical & horizontal centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps and rotating equipment using a combination of power operated, air-driven, and handheld tools. Operate cranes and forklifts. Operates sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare pumps and components for paint. Follows and complies with all safety rules and regulations.
