A little added clearance was necessary for the offset steering box. I've been using the patina truck for mockup.

Widening a set of oem rims for the front. I still have to put them on the jig and true them up,
that’s just a test fit.

Sometimes I’m the windshield and sometimes I’m the bug. I repaired this inner fender today just to figure out it’s for a 1-1/2 ton! Damn the bad luck!

I worked on my trucks doors yesterday for a couple hours, they latch and open well now.
I am having problems with the window run channels though, the channels from LMC do not fit correctly.

I must be sick? This followed me home today, lots of good parts for my patina project truck. Good head light buckets seem to be hard to find. The 235 in this whip is froze up, it has a rebuild tag on it so I will try to break it loose. Yep, I'm still working on my nice truck but can't seem to resist junk!

The Altman latches function very well but I have 1950 and earlier doors on a 1952 cab, Altman sells a kit for this but the spacing was off by a bit, I had to fab up these spacers.

Hey Jeff Foster, I decided to buy the 64-66 door handle relays so the flat bar would lay in the doors correctly, Well, I found that the 64-66 relays top bolt pattern is too high and I had to modify that hole, not a big deal but I wanted to share that tidbit with you as I know you are doing the same modification. I was able to tweak the Altman flat bars that came with the kit to work. I have to say the latches work very well.

Inside door release relay rebuild time. Most of the serrations are striped and rounded off. I am turning down a part from a later model truck in an effort to make it fit my early relays.
