First we want to thank everyone for their interest and for sharing our recent post about available positions at Amtrac. That being said we also experienced a couple of minor negative results that we want to avoid, so let us spell out the following:
1) Everyone is free to comment on the original posts we make as well as share them, but please keep that as positive as possible. If you feel the need to be negative, please save that for your own news-feed posts. If you don't want us to see something, don't post it publicly but only so your friends can read it. See Facebook about how to do that.
2) On our posts, we welcome comments but we don't want any arguments or debates. We don't have time to moderate debates that turn into firestorm battles nor do we have time to read all of the brilliance that goes into those debates. Such comments will be (and were) deleted. If they start up again from the same person(s), they will be blocked from our page.
3) Regarding the discussion of wages that we advertise to potential employees, we are certainly aware that there are other jobs and careers out there that pay more, or pay less for much less effort. We have been doing this for just over 50 years and we know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two. If you can get a better job elsewhere, please go get it and realize that we don't need to read your expert analysis on wages or your brilliant thoughts on economics. Go post it on your own FB news-feed where someone who is interested can read it.
4) Employees of Amtrac should feel free to ask whatever questions they have by contacting our main office, or by asking their supervisor who can ask our main office, or by asking their mother to call in to our main office if the other options seem too scary. However, if you merely ask questions on Facebook when you have shared our posts, it is possible that we may not notice your questions.
