Today on World Bee Day, we’re recognizing the small but essential pollinators that help keep ecosystems healthy. 🐝

At SEE, environmental stewardship is at the core of what we do. From protecting water quality to supporting sustainable solutions that benefit both communities and the environment.

Healthy ecosystems depend on biodiversity, and bees are a critical part of that balance.

Happy World Bee Day from all of us at SEE

Field season has sprung! 🌹

Emma and Karoline have been out across Bangor and Lewiston deploying continuous loggers for the Urban Impaired Streams projects and gathering valuable monitoring data along the way.

They also completed flow monitoring in Bangor during a storm event that brought over 1.5 inches of rain; by the end of the day, nothing stayed dry!

With fieldwork continuing through mid-November, they’ve got a long journey ahead of them this season!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible moms out there!

Here at SEE, we’re lucky to work alongside mothers whose kindness and support reach far beyond their job titles. The care, guidance, and support given doesn’t stop in the office. From baking us goodies and making birthdays special to advising about work, science, and life, they always go out of their way to take care of the people around them.

We’re so grateful for all that you do!!
