Tis the Season! The Christmas decorations are in place and ready for the holidays. Great job North Star Scale, Paul and his helper Nate Poulson. Ormsby has their Small Town Christmas Saturday Dec. 6th, come and enjoy the festivities.

North Star Scale installed a Rice Lake OTR 120ft x 10ft Steel Deck Truck Scale back in 2022. The scale was placed on a floating slab foundation with 40ft approaches, has LaserLight2 remote displays for easy reading of the truck weights. We recently were there to install new guide rails that were damaged on the truck scale. In 2022, we also installed a used Durline 70ftx10ft truck scale on an above ground foundation, which sits parallel to the 120ftx10ft truck scale. This is an impressive facility, there are a lot of truck hauling asphalt to their job sites.

North Star Scale installed a new Rice Lake 80x12 OTR Steel Deck Truck Scale on a 6ft pit foundation for Farmward, Sacred Heart's facility. Included is a LaserLight2 remote display, ticket reader and ticket printer. The driver's don't need to get out of their trucks for their tickets. Also installed was a Jaham JT10 grain probe. All of this was installed just in time for harvest 2025.

North Star Scale recently installed an above ground Rice Lake OTR Steel Deck Truck Scale with guide rails and a Laserlight2 4 inch remote display for Tioga Dairy, Waverly, MN. The scale will be used to weigh commodity like corn silage, haylage and grain to feed their dairy cows with the nutrients they need to produce healthy milk.

Westphal Trucking outside of Danube, MN was looking for a used truck scale. North Star Scale just happened to have a Rice Lake 70x10 scale in stock. Westphal Trucking sand blasted and put a fresh coat of red paint on the used scale and we installed it for them with a concrete scale foundation. The repurposed scale is working great for their operation along with a new 4 inch Laserlight remote display and red/green light.

The warm weather has helped us get the Fall scale calibrations about wrapped up. Farmers stay safe and have a profitable harvest.
