Thank you to all who attended this morning's HOA meeting.
It was nice to see familiar faces and to meet new residents.
This is an election year for all board positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) nominations for all positions will be held at an October meeting(date to be determined).
Board members serve a two-year term, and are volunteers, there are no paid positions. Please note that you must be a paid member to vote, to nominate, and to be able to run and accept a position.
We are a voluntary, nonprofit corporation serving as a HOA, we depend on contributions to maintain our Entrance, Mail Center, lights, Street signage, road base, Etc., and the HOA does not receive any relief from the County on those items.
We request $75 per year for Dues, and $100 for Road Maintenance.
An annual Newsletter is mail to each property Owner where we provide an abbreviated Expense Report, accomplishments and needs.
In just this past year, the HOA was able to pave another section of Pine Woods Road, install 7 new Street signs, installed the new Entrance sign, repaired the damaged Mail Center, and Mail Boxes, in 3 days(I cannot thank the individuals enough who swiftly provided carpentry, welding, and stabilization of the structures), installed more NO Trespassing signage and attended to general maintenance issues such as potholes.
We have collected over $5,000 towards the paving of another section of Pine Woods Road, but will need to collect $8,000 more.
A payment request Contribution Letter will be mailed specifically to property owners in that portion of the subdivision.
Please send in $250 or more to help with this great Improvement.
I want to thank all previous board members who have volunteered to serve our community just to name a few of the past Presidents: Bob Bendlin, Cheryl Eastwood, Jim Stoltenborg, Kevin Tobias, Ron VanConant,.....it is due to the efforts of a many years that the HOA has been able to pave over a mile of Pine Woods Road, construct the Mail Center, construct new Entrance signs, install a Community Information Board, install new sign Street signage in many areas that were never marked, attend to general maintenance issues, and since 2015, we have spread over 86 loads of Base.
I applaud them, and all other Board Members who have served, the countless volunteers, and all the owners who have contributed to the Association.
Yes the HOA cares!
We encourage you to become involved and support your community.
Best regards, Helen
