Follow-us countdown #3. We are designing and permitting replacement of the Route 124 culvert, connecting Herring River to Long Pond in Harwich, MA. The project is planned to enhance a critical migratory fishway while also improving roadway safety along a popular multi-modal pathway.

We partnered with Spencer Preservation Group to design building envelope repairs to the Spire Center for Performing Arts. As part of the ongoing stabilization work, the failing transept walls were completely rebuilt using engineered and with new catenary cables tension ties spanning over the auditorium space below. The steeple structure was also repaired and reinforced by installing continuous tiedowns to lower-level framing and repairing deteriorated members.

Our clients Preservation of Affordable Housing recently joined state and local officials to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Residences at Lawrence Hill in Wellfleet, MA. This new affordable housing community will feature 46 sustainably designed, year-round rental housing units for low- and moderate-income families. Our team is providing civil/site engineering for the development in collaboration with Community Development Partnership and Studio G Architects.

Following the recent passage of the Affordable Homes Act, Housing Assistance Corporation held a special event on the grounds of the former Governor Prence Inn on Route 6A in Orleans. State and local leaders underscored the legislation’s importance for affordable housing development on Cape Cod and across the Commonwealth.

Our team is providing site/civil engineering and landscaping master plan services to redevelop the 5.5-acre parcel into 61 affordable rental homes, 10 middle-income townhomes, and seven single-family homes for lower-income residents designed by Union Studio Architecture & Community Design - a significant step forward in addressing the region’s housing challenges.

Stage Harbor, located on the southern tip of Chatham, MA, is home to the town’s harbormaster, numerous marinas, public landings, yacht clubs, and beaches. Over the recent years, breaks through the harbor’s barrier beach deposited sand within the channel and created a navigational hazard. To maintain its marine infrastructure and keep it safe and operable, the Town recently completed a two-week effort to dredge the channel.
