This week David Jones has been in Montreal as part of the second meeting of the International Civil Aviation Organization Ad Hoc Working Group on Cabin Crew Digital Learning. The group is drafting guidelines for the development, implementation, and approval for digital, virtual, and augmented reality for cabin crew training for ICAO. This is an important step in gaining authority approval and consistency in quality of VR and AR training in the aviation industry. The team from American Airlines that have integrated virtual training over the past 6 years presented the journey from 2017 to now and the future at the European Airline Training Symposium 2023 ( ) in Cascais, Portugal.
