Naples Airport is setting a new benchmark for coastal resiliency in aviation. Elevated airfield lighting and a storm-resilient electrical vault strengthen critical infrastructure and support rapid recovery following flooding or severe weather events. With the potential to influence future FAA design standards for flood-prone airports, this effort marks an important step forward in protecting coastal aviation systems.
