With Flamingo Crossings Village, participants in the Disney Internships and Programs have a new place to call home! Designed by NBA, the 2,614-unit, 10,440 bed, workforce housing development brings together participants who were once housed in traditional garden-style apartments surrounding Walt Disney World Resort. The new community reflects the excitement of the Magic Kingdom, highlighted by a variety of floor plans for private and shared accommodations along with 50,000 sf of state-of-the-art amenity space.
With six of the phases complete and fully occupied, the community has received amazing feedback, being compared to a “mini-resort” by its enthusiastic residents. This innovative community will serve as a model for other large corporations seeking housing solutions for their workforce. We can’t wait to see this magical development fully completed in 2023!
