π‘ Perimetry isn't just for glaucoma.
When a patient presents with ptosis, the clinical question is straightforward: how much is the drooping eyelid actually affecting their vision β The answer, however, is rarely objective β until you bring kinetic perimetry into the picture.
β
With the PTS 2000, the assessment is simple. Two tests, same stimulus parameters β one with the natural lid position, one with the lid supported by tape. The system automatically calculates the visual field area in degΒ² for both conditions, giving you a precise, quantifiable difference that goes far beyond a subjective impression.
That number becomes a clinical argument. A documented, measurable loss of visual field that can support the surgical decision β or confirm that intervention is justified.
Objective data where you least expected it.
