Application for Mass Flow Controllers in Industrial Processes...

In a large number of industrial processes , burners are used in heat treating, forming, welding metals, as well as in glass blowing applications, just to name a few.
Burner flames require exact mixtures of gases to control the temperature of the process. It is generally sufficient to know the exact mass flow rate of the component gases supplied to the burner. Therefore, the need to measure the flame temperature is not required to control the process.
Gases used typically are Oxygen, Hydrogen, Methane, etc. Both analog and digital Mass Flow Controllers provide low maintenance, high accuracy and repeatable processing parameters.
So called smart, digital Mass Flow Controllers are even ramp programmable to facilitate appropriately regulated flow rates in automatic closed loop systems, or simply as a function of time parameters.
Additionally, Mass Flow Controllers are valued process controlling devices, as measurements and controls using same are independent of pressure and temperature changes.

As of Dec 1, 2014 the world's most popular low cost thermal mass flow product line is being produced and marketed with ± 1% FS accuracy ratings for up to 100 sL/min capacities.

This product line with state-of-the-art features at competitive prices represents unbeatable investments in affordable quality.

These Aluminum or 316 stainless steel models are shipped with a special label "1%" to distinguish from previously produced and shipped instruments.
