Fabricating custom sheet metal pressing dies.

Achieving a factory-finish appearance on this bed floor requires bespoke elements. To replicate the factory floor's aesthetic around the wider wheel tubs, bed floor rail caps were needed. The process began with creating a bondo mold of the area, followed by 3D printing a negative mold to test bends, and ultimately printing the positive and negative sides of the die. The dies performed flawlessly, shaping the 18GA steel with ease.

Another bumper update for the cut out filler pieces for the gaps, welded them in lots of sanding and smoothing later thing looks pretty sweet! Finally getting the look I was after.
