1983-1988 Ford Thunderbird/Mercury Cougar Full Console Repair Kit.

(One of my good customers requested this....so I made it happen)

The tabs on the console are prone to breaking. My repair kit is a heavy duty solution to this.

Made from ASA filament, it can withstand high interior temps.
I also install brass threaded inserts.

All you need to do is grind down the tabs completely flat...then put Epoxy.
Make sure the piece is pushed all the way forward. Wait 1 hour to be safe...then install the bezel, hardware.

I'm very close to offering a repair kit for the 83-88 T-Bird/Cougar Full Console...where the shifter bezel mounts to the tabs (that usually break). My kit will be stronger than the original setup.

Thanks to one of my customers for giving the me the idea to design it.

1983-1988 Ford Thunderbird/Mercury Cougar Floor Shifter Bezel Pin Repair Kit.

We all know the pins break. 🙄

I've designed a kit to repair the pins.

Most people buy another bezel...but they are getting extremely hard to find.

*Epoxy + applicator and 2 pins included*

All you do is take a dremel and smooth down the broken pin.

There is a scribe mark near the pin....extend this out farther
(See photo).

Mix up the 2 part epoxy, put a decent amount of where the new pin assembly will sit. Line up the front tip with the line you extended.

Hold it in place a few minutes until the epoxy cures.

Simple as that. Wait a few hours before installing.

The pins are 3d printed solid from ASA filament. I make them myself.

*I would open up the clip slightly that the pin goes in.

$32 total shipped per kit in the United States. $33 if paying with Paypal.

Discount if you want more than 1.

Priced to sell. Finding a good bezel would cost you much more.
