This Month’s Employee Spotlight is on Doug. Doug, a Project Manager & Subcontractor Manager for Moran Iron Works, joined our team two years ago. Doug received his degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT Technical Institute. In addition to being family centered as a husband, father and grandfather, Doug enjoys helping out his neighbors throughout the year with yard clean up and shoveling. His favorite project to date was the uniqueness of the “Dipper Damper” which ended up being a very successful project. Doug, thanks for joining the MIW Team and sharing your talents.

We’re in the final stretch! Our paint team is hard at work spraying the exterior, while our fabrication crew and subcontractors are inside wrapping up those last finishing touches. The excitement is building as the DNR Steelhead prepares for its voyage to the port at the end of the month. Here are a few photos from the progress! Stay tuned, we’re almost there!
