We are extremely proud of the impact our Team had on the children at the Ambassador Pediatric Nursing Home this past Christmas. This incredible facility cares for children from infancy to 21 years old, many with special needs and extensive medical challenges. These kids rely on the generosity of others for essentials like clothing, toiletries, toys, books, and bedding—things not covered by Medicaid.

Thanks to our employee’s support, we donated $4,000 in necessities and toys to help provide these children with a Christmas they deserve. We are grateful for our Team’s generosity and the opportunity to make difference in these children’s lives.

Douglas County, a long-time client of SES, held a groundbreaking yesterday for their new $34M, 80-bed mental health facility which will be an addition to the county correctional facility. SES engineers Matt Juhnke and Kelly Arnold joined team members Carlson West Povondra Architects and McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. to officially kick off this important project. The design will help service and treat inmates providing them with a holistic approach to their overall care and well-being.

INTERNFEST 2024 – Last week the SES Omaha office celebrated our interns through some friendly (and at times not-so friendly) competition, including games of four square, connect four, Jenga, bag toss and others. We hate to see them go, but we wish them all the best as they return to school to pursue their degrees.

To honor the 10-year anniversary of the ALS ice bucket challenge, SES held its own challenge by nominating a recipient from each of our offices to bravely get ice water dumped on them. Through participation from our 6 offices we raised over $4,000 for ALS research and resources for those affected by this horrible disease.
