Our Morrissey Engineering team visited Medora, North Dakota, to check out the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Over two days, we explored the beautiful Theodore Roosevelt National Park and visited the new library, experiencing firsthand its impressive design and craftsmanship. It was amazing to see the interactive library come to life, especially since our team played a part in making it happen. We toured the mechanical and electrical rooms, experienced the living library, and appreciated every moment. In the evening, we tried the famous Steak Fondue and enjoyed the Medora Musical, where one of our own even joined the performers as a volunteer drummer on stage.

Beyond the stunning views, the library stands as a great example of conservation, building a legacy that Theodore Roosevelt would be proud of. This was an adventure we will always remember.

From joining our team as the other half of our administrative staff to becoming a trusted part of our daily operations, Melanie's dedication and expertise have made a lasting impact.

Reflecting on her decade with MEI, Melanie shared:

🏗️ Crossroads continues to take shape!
Crossroads redevelopment on 72nd and Dodge is entering a new phase with multifamily and retail development adding to the transformation of this iconic 40-acre site.

Morrissey Engineering is excited to collaborate with Woodbury Corporation and Holland Basham Architects on this ongoing development, providing MEP engineering solutions that support the project's vision for a dynamic, mixed-use destination in the heart of Omaha.

✨ Celebrating 10 Years! ✨

Please join us in celebrating Colton Baylor's 10 years of service with Morrissey Engineering!

Colton began his career with MEI as an intern in 2015 and earned his Professional Engineering license in 2025. Over the past decade, he has grown alongside our team, taking on new challenges and continually strengthening his expertise.

When reflecting on his time at Morrissey Engineering, Colton shared that his favorite part of the job is the people he works with:

"Morrissey is full of friendly, genuine people with a strong work ethic! The seasoned staff members are great role models for both their knowledge and efficiency. Whenever I have trouble understanding something or encounter a new design, the PM's door is always open to educate me. Upper management does a great job bringing in new hires who fit well with the team and the company's mission."

Rain or shine, there is no weather that can stop us from enjoying Family Fun Day at Morrissey Engineering!

Despite the weather, our staff and their families enjoyed a morning of fun with waffles, coffee, and bounce houses. Coming together to celebrate the end of summer and the start of the new school year. Thanks to the event vendors for making our end-of-summer bash a smash hit!

✨Happy National Internship Day!✨

This summer at Morrissey Engineering, we were joined by eight interns who supported our engineering teams. They received valuable learning opportunities with our fantastic team of mentors and enjoyed site tours, including a tour of the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement. Spending some quality time together at fun events all summer. We are proud of the work they have accomplished this year and wish them luck as they gear up to return to school in the fall!
