🚧We transformed two blocks of 29th Street from Hamilton to Seward into a safer, more accessible roadway as part of the City of Omaha's 5B Program. This initiative focuses on improving older neighborhood streets and paving gravel roads to modern city standards.
This project replaced a narrow gravel street with a new concrete roadway, improved sidewalks, and upgraded curb ramps to make walking, rolling, and crossing the street easier for everyone.
Our project team also worked closely with residents to maintain access to homes and alleys throughout construction. Creative solutions from our designers helped reduce the need for large retaining walls, lowering both construction costs and impacts.👏
