E & A Consulting Group, Inc. E & A Consulting Group, Inc. is a 100-person engineering, planning and field services firm with offices in Omaha and Lincoln.

Our specialties are civil and site engineering, planning, environmental services, construction management, bridge and structural engineering, transportation engineering, land development and all types of land surveying. These core competencies enable our staff to perform a wide range of civil engineering assignments, helping clients from concept and feasibility to construction and close-out. E&A has 55 years of experience providing consulting engineer services to public and private sector clients. We provide site and community planning, engineering, surveying and environmental services for commercial developments, housing, schools and recreation. We provide bridge and structural design, road and highway design, civil for industrial plants, commercial and residential subdivisions. We work around wetlands and flood plains by integrating landscaping with stormwater management. We stand out from the competition with our culture and commitment to clients. Our transportation team makes sure that every turn counts. 🚦

E&A helped improve traffic flow and intersection operations along 23rd Street in Fremont, Nebraska, between North Luther Road and Diers Parkway. This project added three right-turn lanes and one left-turn lane, while three existing left-turn bays were lengthened to improve traffic movement.

At Diers Parkway, a new left-turn lane and signal modifications helped address potential safety concerns and improve intersection performance. E&A provided project management, roadway design, survey, construction administration, and environmental services and permitting.

We’re proud to have partnered with the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the City of Fremont to deliver these transportation improvements for the community.

Congratulations to Jeremy Nichols on earning his Professional Engineer (PE) license! 🎉

Jeremy joined E&A in August 2015 as a Designer after earning his degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University. He participated in our designer rotation program before joining the Municipal Services design team in 2020, where he continues to work today. He has also been a member of the myE&A Committee.

We’re excited to celebrate this well-earned milestone and look forward to seeing Jeremy continue to grow in his career.

A familiar site, reimagined. 📍

Located along North Saddle Creek Road, this 1.5-acre redevelopment gave a portion of the former Indian Creek Nursery site a new purpose, incorporating retail space, restaurants and townhomes into one mixed-use site.

E&A supported this project through both the planning and design process, providing surveying, site planning, platting, zoning, civil and landscape design, PCSMP design, construction staking, and erosion and sediment control services. The project also involved rezoning, alley and right-of-way vacation, and revisions to the Future Land Use Plan.
