Pioneer's 8010-4 VS 8010-4P.
8010-4 is Pioneer’s ball valve style quick disconnect male tip. This style quick disconnect male tip relies on a hard seat metal to metal seal. Over time with wear and tear this seal will allow weeping and dripping when disconnected.
8010-4P is Pioneer’s poppet valve style quick disconnect male tip. This style quick disconnect male tip relies on a nitrile seal that allows for a longer lasting, tighter seal. No weeps or drips when disconnected.
Some more advantages of the poppet style quick disconnect:
-Poppet valve is 100% interchangeable with the ball valve style
-Pioneer’s poppet and ball valve style adhere to ISO 5675
-Available in a wide range of ports
-Nitrile seal blocks weeps or drips when disconnected

3 Reason to switch to Parker’s non-spill quick couplings

1. Delivers near zero spillage
-The flat face design means no more than a coating of liquid will appear on the valves’ surface, creating repeated dripless connections and disconnections.

2. Reduces air inclusion and system contamination
