Ever have a job go sideways?

I got a call last week from a contractor working with another supplier who just dropped their base coat on a garage floor.

Everything looked perfect. 24 hours later: bubbles. Everywhere.

He reached out to his supplier. Radio silence. Not their problem...

So he called us.

We didn't sell him the product. We didn't do the job. But we asked him to walk us through it anyway.

Did you grind or use a chemical bond? Did you run a moisture test before you started? What was the temperature and humidity that day? How did you store the product before mixing?

Turns out, the contractor didn't use a grout coat. Air trapped in the concrete had nowhere to go but up through the epoxy before it cured.

That's what caused the bubbles.

We walked him through how to fix it. He did. But it cost him- only not as much as it could have.

We offered him our 20% Contractor Assurance credit on the replacement product for the job.

Not because we had to. Because we believe that when you screw up a job, you need help.

As your supplier, we choose to share the cost of making it right.

Most don't. We do.

Here's the thing: product failures happen. But most of the time, they're not product failures.

They're information failures. Someone didn't know what to ask. Someone didn't get trained. Someone guessed instead of calling.

We think your supplier should be the person you call when something goes sideways. Not the person you avoid because you know they won't pick up.

What a transformation!

This week we tackled our own ladies bathroom at Tovah Supply and the results are awesome!

Believe it or not, we went right over the existing linoleum using:

Premera Coatings Fusion Primer.

We then used a water based epoxy from Smith Paints for our base

We flaked into that with custom 1" hybrid blend with marble flakes and solid colors from Torginol

And then top coated with a 100% solids polyaspartic product we are testing.

The outcome... you decide!
