He went on to get an associates degree in Machine Tool and Die at Vincennes University. But he learned a lot of his mechanic knowledge in the race shop with his Grandpa Farrell who raced stock cars and dad Everett who races modifieds. Evan also previously raced hornets for a short amount of time and grew up wanting to be a race car driver. He and his fiance share a 9 month old daughter. He previously worked at Orielys in Olney for four years. His favorite part of his job is custom building and fabbing. He enjoys riding four wheelers and dirt bikes in his spare time.

Evan expressed his appreciation for the confidence of his skills that he’s accumulated since being employed. He is appreciated for paying attention to small detail and broad skillset. From mechanic, to welding, fabricating, and willingness to do quick tasks with walk in customers. We appreciate Evan for his hard work and his enthusiasm to learn new things everyday.

Hello and welcome to our Summer Employee Spotlight! Remember to share our post and give our business page a like for a chance to be entered to win a surprise at the end of our special!

May we introduce our head of office, Ellen (Schneider) Steber. Ellen has been with us since November 2021. Ellen grew up in stringtown and is one of 7 siblings. Her dad was well known for owning the lawn mower repair shop in Stringtown while her mom held the best job of raising her children at home. She graduated Olney high school and went on to graduate from OCC with an associates degree. She has accumulated other college credit by attending night classes throughout her secretarial career. She married Paul Steber in 1995 and together they have three children and a daughter in law. She previously worked at Marathon Tire for 33 years before joining our team. She enjoys watching Dodgers Baseball and is a M&M collector. Her favorite part of her job is being appreciated and the people she works with. She also enjoys meeting people throughout the day.

Ellen is noticed for taking pride in her job and always being happy and joyful. She loves her kids and shows much pride in their achievements. We appreciate all of the work she does, from watching dino videos with Layne to keeping James in line (its a hard task some days). Stay tuned for next weeks employee summer spotlight.

Welcome to our Summer Spotlight Special! We will be introducing the crew behind Gallagher Profab and some services we offer. Make sure to share Employee Spotlight posts and LIKE our page for a chance to win a surprise at the end of the summer!

First we have Mr Popular himself, Mr Biggles. If you’ve been in the office you have probably met him. It’s a rags go ritches story. He was found by the owner, James, just north of his house dumped atleast four years ago. He was sickly looking and scared. He now spends his days lounging in the office, greeting customers or frolicking outside. But by night he keeps the shop safe from people and rodents alike. Hes been known to not only hunt mice but snakes and other unwanted guests. We are lucky to have rescued him and have him apart of our crew.
Stay tuned next week for our next employee spotlight.

All aluminum drone trailer we just finished. We started by fabricating a framework to mount the generator on, fabricated a fuel cell for the generator, fabricated all of the framework, mounted the framework to the trailer, once mounted we sealed and installed all of the exterior metal. We then installed impact resistant glass, fabricated a folding landing pad to keep the overall width down and allow more usable space to land the drone, we fabricated the staircase mostly out of our excess drop material, everything else aluminum that you see was formed and fabricated all in house. We are beyond grateful for a project like this, and all of our other customers that keep us busy and rolling!

Good friend of mine brought his boat in for a overhaul. We added a new floor, rod boxes, a live well for the fish and a live well to keep bait fish separate. Put in a steering console and seat pockets to have several options, this boat is very sentimental to him and I was very happy to get the opportunity to build what he wanted to last a long time! Just in time for his big river trip!

Sunflower tillage tool came in for some repairs, the main frame was cracked from roading the equipment. A simple crack repair wasn’t going to cut it so we fabricated a truss system above the tool to help take and disperse most of the load while getting from one field to another!

Local township brought in their road drag for repairs and a couple upgrades. We machined and added larger main axle spindles to step up to a 8 bolt 7000lb hub. We then fabricated a two way pivot for the rear drag blade, this allows the blade to be used on the left side of the road and the right side and also be able to apply more pressure to the ground on one side than the other to help control where and what the operator wants the rock to do.

Sure was a fun build but maybe a bit more fun testing 👍👍

Another walker neer 33a heading to go to work!
We removed the drawworks and fabricated a new frame under it, installed it on a better truck, mounted a drop box in the driveline to run the drawworks off the truck engine, installed a brand new power beyond hydraulic system, fabricated a partial canopy over the cab, fabricated a custom front bumper, fabricated a new deck and tool boxes, on the rear of the truck we built new jacks with adjustment nuts to hold the rig from creeping while rigged up, we made all the air controls as comfortable as possible for the operator and everything can be ran from the operator side!

If you have a project similar that you need worked over or custom built give us a call!
