MPS Engineering, Inc. offers many services in the electrical engineering field. We are best known for our detailed design plans for new and remodeled or renovated construction projects. We have designed over 4000 projects in the past 35 years. Our design services include shop drawing and submittal reviews, construction administration services and value engineering analysis as well as preparation of construction documents. We follow a project from the beginning of design until the end of construction. We offer other services as well including code compliance analysis, construction feasibility and planning studies, energy reviews, cost estimation and financial analysis. Our staff includes licensed professionals, electrical engineers and designers as well as experienced cost estimators. We use a team approach to design with a lead project engineer supported by designers, CAD operators and clerical staff. Every project is supervised by a licensed professional electrical engineer. In addition to electrical power systems design, our firm has been one of the leaders in low voltage and computer networking design. We have expertise in fiber optic and copper cable technology for computer networks and have designed infrastructure cabling systems for numerous private and public owners. We are also proficient at designing fire alarm systems, telecommunication systems, security systems, closed circuit television and many other low voltage systems. They are essential to the success of most projects and we spend as much time or more on these designs as we do on lighting, power distribution, motor control and HVAC systems. Our projects have included medical facilities, schools, office buildings, government buildings, military bases, banks, restaurants, retail stores, industrial plants, pumping stations, high rise buildings, residential complexes and other miscellaneous facilities. Our staff can handle just about any electrical project.

Pasco County Nottingham Public Works Facility is under final review before permitting. It is located at an undeveloped 123-acre site in the Hudson area of Pasco County. The scope of the project was straightforward - the new campus will consolidate various public works, engineering and fleet management departments coming from existing sites and buildings located across Pasco County. The effort was really for two main buildings: an 82,096 GSF Infrastructure Office/ Warehouse Building and an 20,947 GSF Fleet Management Building and four support structure facilities located on site including the following: Public Works Pole Barn Building, Public Works Large Vehicle Wash Down Area, Fleet Management Fuel Station/Island, Fleet Management Large Vehicle Wash Down Area. Parking for county vehicles is also a main driver for site development and includes 800 parking spaces. The anticipated opinion of probable construction cost is $70,000,000.
