Mr. Slate is President of M5 Incorporated, having assumed the position on September 1, 2022. He most recently held the position of Corporate Sales Vice President of Midstream Accounts for DistributionNOW (DNOW). Over the previous 17 years, Darell has held numerous DNOW leadership roles in sales and operations, including managing multi-Million-dollar E&P and Midstream national accounts. He spent the past 12 years living in Oklahoma City, OK while managing various sales teams across the Midcontinent, Haynesville, and Barnett regions. He began his career 32 years ago with a distribution company Continental Emsco (1990 – 1995), where he became one of the youngest branch managers in the history of the company at 22 years old based in Ozona, TX. After C/E he spent 10 years at Balon Corporation (1995 – 2005) working in several sales and marketing leadership positions, before joining Wilson Supply as District Sales Manager in 2005 based in Oklahoma City, OK.
Darell has two boys Austin 22 and Hudson 16 and resides in SW Oklahoma City, OK.
